Trails of colour follow a swallows flight or trail like a field of wheat in the breeze, flowing freely across the white vessel surface. The smallest vessels are an exact fit for tealights and the translucent material glows when lit.
Using oxides to create colour contrasts with the white parian slip, the structure is based on a hydrangea petal skeleton, each piece being unique in its final form.
Translucence in the material allows light and shadow to create new perspectives.
Hand-painted tree silhouettes stand stark against the pure white vessel. Reminiscent of a crisp winters day, the material lends an ice-like texture and quality. Available as a vessel or an electric lamp (21cm high).
